I tested “World of Tanks” on a friend’s computer just recently, and the game just blew me away. Honestly, it’s one of the games that have excited me the most in recent time. As a matter of fact. I have thrown in many hours into the game with very little to no rest. So it’s most definitely one of those games that tells you “Continue … keep playing … you have nothing left to unlock a new tank.”
Furthermore, “World of Tanks” has awesome maps that offer great playability and many strategies both with friends and alone, which is what I like most about the extensions of their maps is that you do not always depend on your teammates to win a game. They are also very detailed and extremely realistic. You’ll really get into the game.
So, what about graphics then? Well, there is nothing bad to be said on that front. As “World of tanks” graphics are very realistic. So much so that I am afraid that I might suffer a bit of lag. That’s also why I prefer to play the game on medium settings. From time to time (very rarely) the sound backfires at the time of shooting or being shot, but little happens. It will be for my computer, but it is not annoying to tell the truth.
Leaving the theme of shooter and strategy in real-time, this is the best tank-based game I’ve played. Great variety of tanks and nations, continuous updates to innovate the game and a moderately acceptable community.
For those who do not know what the game is, it is confrontation of a group of players against another in tanks that are cataloged by tier, unlike the competition as it would be armored warfare, they do not introduce modern tanks, but most of them are “historical tanks”.
The normal mode is the random mode, in which 15 tanks face another 15 in a large number of maps (the company is taking new maps and removing some in which there are advantageous positions for a team), another mode, for example, and very recent are the modes of strength, in which you can attack the strengths of other users, or perform skirmishes, which can be tanks of Tier VI, VIII, or X.
What’s interesting is you can get benefits in gold, that’s the game currency, which can be purchased in World of Tanks sale with real money, if you want. There are many tank nations to choose from with more than 300 tanks.
The tanks go from tier I to tier X, and there are five types of tanks: light, medium, heavy, tank destroyers and artillery, each with a defined role: the light ones are fast and with little armor, they can move quickly to see the movements of the tank.
Medium tanks are versatile tanks that do not stand out at any point. The heavy tanks are slow, very armored and as a rule they are in the front line. The tank destroyers usually have a very hard frontal. Most of the tank destroyers lack a turret, and they don’t move very quickly on the battlefield. Even so, the tank destroyers strength is to be found in their ability to take out heavily armored tanks.
The Artillery has little to no armor, minimum health, and very low mobility. However, where this class shines is through its armament: large-caliber guns that can severely cripple, and even destroy its opponents. In other words, it’s an unsuspecting opponent.
So, all in all, “World of Tanks” is most definitely a must try game for fans of tanks.
