Who has the Most Wins in Fortnite Battle Royale?
The champion of Fortnite revealed!
Everyone loves winning. After achieving victory, our brains are wired to reward us with a rush of pleasure and satisfaction like no other. This feeling even extends to teams or people we side with in sporting events. Take video game streamers as an example.
So once you’re a fan of theirs, you’d feel happy when they win, and sad when they lose—the perfect vicarious experience. Sometimes, you even watch their (or your) wins stack up on a Fortnite tracker with eager anticipation.
It’s no wonder the question ‘who has the most wins in Fortnite?’ is a popular one. Many people would think of the legends such as Ninja, Myth, and their contemporaries. They’re really good at the game, and you’d expect that comes hand in hand with the number of wins they have.
However, that is not always the case. There is still the element of randomness and luck in the game. Skills aren’t the only tools to help you win, you also need a little luck. Besides, the old pro players and streamers are moving on to other games and projects.
So here are the skilled and lucky players of Fortnite!
Playing in squads lessens the burden of survival for a player. Your squadmates can cover the things you can’t do. Excellent coordination and cooperation can easily lead to your team winning, as well. Of course, players still do need their own skills lest they be considered freeloaders or leeches. The difficulty is when you get teammates you can’t cooperate with.
For squad matches, the player with the highest win number is zRotation. Out of 19,263 matches, they’ve won 16,276. That gives them a win rate of 84.50%. Due to the nature of squad matches, their regular team (if they have one) would also qualify for the most number of wins as a squad.
Duos are the midpoint between Solos and Squads. You still need to cooperate with your partner, yet be able to survive on your own if they ever get eliminated. The difficulty of getting someone you can’t cooperate with is still there. However, it’s less of a punishment than getting more than one of those.
The player with the most wins in duos is Xblpro. They have 3,858 wins out of 7,064 matches. That’s a win rate of 54%, more than half the time. Like squad matches, if they have a regular partner, the two of them would qualify to have the most number of wins for duos.
Solo matches are a test of your skills in shooting, building, and surviving. Only you are against the rest of the players in the match. You can only rely on your experiences and strategies, without outside help. Though you might think those who are good at solos can be good at the other modes, you can’t train cooperation when you’re alone.
With 9,081 wins in 20,852 matches, Mixer Ship gets the title of most Solo Match wins. That’s a win rate of about 43%.
Overall, judging by the number of wins in their Fortnite stats, zRotation takes the title with 17,033 wins. While the majority of those wins are from squad matches, they do have some wins in solos and duos to boost it.
You may have been expecting to see some big names to pop up here. You may even wonder why they aren’t listed here. Well, the explanation is, you don’t have to win a Victory Royale to be good at Fortnite. It does play a part in being good at the game, but that’s not all it entails.
Getting better at something means you need to practice. Within all that time you used to practice, you might’ve lost more than you won. The low win rate of pros can be attributed to that. That’s the foundation of their skills, and there’s a saying you learn more when you fail than when you win.
It’s not good to base your skill on the number of wins you have. Again, luck and randomness is a factor. Focus on skills you can use to win in conflicts against other players to become good. Sooner or later you’ll feel like a pro, even if a Fortnite tracker says otherwise.
Just remember to have fun!
