You know, even though I’ve played ID’s classic FPS game “Doom” since 1993. I still manage to find new, creative and awesome “Doom” mods and spin-offs to this very day (“Brutal Doom“, “Project Brutality” and “MiniDoom” are three of my favorite fan-made “Doom” projects though).
Well, today I found a brand-new “Doom” mod which I have never EVER heard of before, and it’s the “Linear Doom” mod by DeXiaZ:
“Linear Doom is a jokewad which makes all classic Doom 1 levels straightened into one line” – DeXiaZ
Furthermore, when I found out about the existence of “Linear Doom”, I also soon noticed that v1.1 of the mod launched just recently (v1.1 were released on the 2nd of April).
So without any hesitation whatsoever, I downloaded v1.1 of “Linear Doom” and gave it a try. Well, I’m glad that I made that decision, because “Linear Doom” sure offers its players very different and unique “Doom” experience.
You don’t have to take my word for it though, because you can simply watch DeXiaZ’s gameplay trailer for “Linear Doom” further down the page.
And with that said, what’s your take on e “Linear Doom”? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!
