2021 sure has started off with a big bang and style for me, because I might not have mentioned it before, but I’m a HUGE fan of LucasArts and Joe McDermott’s old-school shoot-em-up/adventure horror game “Zombies Ate My Neighbors” (the game was originally released for the SNES and Mega Drive console back in 1993).
As a matter of fact, I love “Zombies Ate My Neighbors” so much that I still got the Mega Drive version of the game in my video game collection to this very day (fun fact, it’s the same game which I bought back in the early 90s).
Anyways, I think you get the idea. So, I’m just going to get straight to the point. As I was saying, I was just chill surfing through the web and then I suddenly stumbled up on a really cool GZDoom mod called “Zombies Ate My Neighbors TC” (the mod was created by a guy called Dude27th).
Well, naturally I got very happy and excited about this discovery of mine of course. However, I got pretty darn surprised that I have never even heard about this mod before…
Secondly, I had no idea (whatsoever) that the mod can now also be played with 100% full VR support (check out Press start to begin’s “Zombies Ate My Neighbors TC” VR gameplay video for some hands-on in-game action footage).
Thus the reason why I decided to write up this article, since I’m pretty sure that I’m not the only one out there that hasn’t even heard about the “Zombies Ate My Neighbors” TC mod nor the fact that the mod now supports VR fully.
Well, I don’t know about you boys and girls, but all of this sure made my day. So I hope to get a chance to try out the “Zombies Ate My Neighbors” TC mod with and without a VR-headset as soon as possible!
So with that said, what’s your take on the “Zombies Ate My Neighbors” TC mod and its full VR-support possibilities?
