Today is a very good day if you just happen to be a fan of “Splatoon 2“. You see, Nintendo Sweden (Bergsala AB) just informed us that half of the teams for the Splatoon 2 European Championship 2018-2019 are ready for the final:
“Half of the Splatoon 2 European Championship team is ready for the final!
Now half of the European tournaments in the Splatoon 2 European Championship’s 2018-2019 have been held and six teams have qualified for the big finals. Another six European teams will now qualify and there will of course be a Nordic law to be included. More info about the Nordic Quarter Tournament Coming Soon!!!
The six European teams qualifying so far and now have a place in the big finals are:
Germany: BackSquids (Winner of German National Splatoon 2 Tournament at Gamescom 2018)
Switzerland: Huitante (Winner of Zurich Game Show)
Netherlands: Polderlantis (Winner of First Look)
Belgium: Overtime (Winner of Gameforce)
Spain: Polarized (Winner of Madrid Games Week)
Austria: Team? (Winner of Game City)
While the teams get ready for the big final, held in 2019, we are waiting six qualifying tournaments that will be held in the following countries:
France – Paris Games Week – October 26 – October 28th
Portugal – Lisbon Games Week – November 17 – November 18th
United Kingdom – MCM Birmingham – November 24 – November 25th
Russia – Level Up Day – December 2nd
Norden – More info coming soon!
Italy – More info coming soon!
