Even though there´s a lot of focus on big FPS AAA titles such as “COD Advanced Warfare“, “Destiny” and “Borderlands Pre-Sequel”. I´m still more excited over the fact that Rockstar has added a FPS mode to Grand Theft Auto 5. Why? Well, for a whole bunch of reasons really.
The PC-version of GTA V (which will be the version that i will be playing) looks freaking awesome (no offense to the console folks. But the PC-version is far superior when it comes to mods and graphics).
And GTA V offers a beautiful open world that´s full of possibilities and potential.
Only your imagination sets the limits for what you can do in GTA V really. Then you got the mod scene as well. Then you got the online-mode on top of that. And the thought of being able to play GTA V from a first-person perspective, just blows me away.
Honestly, i think the GTA V FPS-mode will boost the sells like hell. So i bet that quite a few will pick up GTA V to PS4, Xbox One (November 18th) and PC (January 27th) once the game get´s released.
So, that makes me wonder. Will you guys buy GTA V on release? And what´s your thoughts about the FPS-mode?
About Grand Theft Auto V:
Exclusive to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions of Grand Theft Auto V, this new mode gives players the chance to explore the world of Los Santos and Blaine County directly through the eyes of their character, revealing all the world’s glorious details in an entirely new way.
Available in both GTAV and GTA Online, we’ve made a host of changes to accommodate this new perspective, including the creation of an optional first person cover system, a new targeting system, a more traditional FPS control scheme, and integrating thousands of new animations into the existing game. It’s also available at the touch of a button so you can easily switch back and forth between perspectives.
Alongside the new First Person mode, Grand Theft Auto V for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC features hundreds of additions and enhancements including 1080p resolution at 30FPS on PS4 and Xbox One (4K compatible on PC).
Grand Theft Auto V will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18th. Coming January 27th to PC.
