Roccat is with no doubt (whatsoever) THE Gaming company that grows the most at this time. Because in a very short amount of time. They have partnered up with Alien Ware, Teamspeak and now with Intel extreme masters as major event sponsor (which would be one of the biggest E-sport events in the world).

Roccat is now a part of the Intel extreme masters family.

That´s great news for anyone that likes E-sport (and Roccat for that matter). But this makes me wonder. What will Roccat do next? Who knows, they might even become a major event sponsor of Dreamhack in Sweden.

It’s not unlikely, or impossible really. Oh well, time will tell. A big  congrats to Roccat and IEM anyhow =)

Press release:
Four deal sponsorship commitment with IEM kicks off in California’s Silicon Valley

Hamburg, 12. November 2014 – With the world of eSports proliferating rapidly across the globe and true superstars being made every day, it is with great excitement that ROCCAT announces a four event sponsorship collaboration with eSports powerhouse Intel Extreme Masters, for their Season 9 tournament series featuring StarCraft II and League of Legends.

René Korte, CEO and Founder of ROCCAT Studios details, “Our dedication to the eSports community is well-established, with our own Team ROCCAT League of Legends team, and world champion StarCraft II player HyuN representing us proudly.

We are heavily invested in the success of the eSporting ecosystem, and are extremely proud to join one of its most lauded representatives in Intel Extreme Masters for these exciting events. We can’t wait to show up in Northern California to be a part of the madness.”

ROCCAT will make their first appearance as exclusive peripheral sponsors at IEM’s San Jose event December 6-7, hosted at the SAP Center, home of NHL professional hockey team the San Jose Sharks. “Our gaming keyboards and mice will be available in all public gaming areas, where gamers can get their hands on some of our best gear,” René continues.

“These include the brand new Tyon gaming mouse, and our exciting Ryos TKL Pro keyboard. San Jose is going to get an incredible event, with some of the greatest competitive gamers in the world and a heavy dose of ROCCAT attitude.”

“We are happy to welcome ROCCAT as another member of the Intel Extreme Masters family,” says Michal Blicharz, Managing Director Pro Gaming ESL. “ROCCAT is a partner that is committed to eSports and will help us make our season even better.”

In addition to the San Jose showing, ROCCAT will be a major sponsorship presence in IEM’s following three events in Germany, Taiwan and Poland.

The Ryos Family gets an eSports All-Star
With best-in-industry Cherry MX Key Switches, 470 programmable macros, and two 32-Bit ARM Cortex processors plus 2 MB of flash memory, the Ryos TKL Pro is a monster win for not only eSports gamers, but anyone who wants to experience the ultimate gaming keyboard experience.

Polish it off with our vibrant Per-Key Illumination and the Lighting Engine 2.0 that boasts a massive list of special effects. Says our StarCraft II champ HyuN, “The Ryos TKL Pro looks good, it feels really great to play on, and supports all of my needs when I’m training, and definitely in competition. If you’re an eSports gamer like me or just love playing with an amazing keyboard, the TKL Pro is awesome.”
