Harmonix, has announced that they will be bringing us Rock Band 4! That’s right the legendary guitar, and drum blasting game that stocked store shelves, and strummed its way into our hearts until 2007 is coming back after almost 8 years!
The only downside is that it will be for next-gen consoles only, so Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 fans will be thrilled.
What’s more Harmonix, and Mad Catz are collaborating to bring us new peripherals for the systems, which will be made of more durable materials according to industry insiders.
Harmonix says their goal is to make the game backwards compatible with every Rock Band guitar and drum set you might have thrown in your basement or garage since the series launched in 2007.
See it pays to save all that stuff after all. Their goal is to let you carry over all of your old DLC songs as well.
We’ll have more on this as it develops, but for now bask in the ambience that you’ll be back to singing and playing newer songs for your new system.
Give us your thoughts in the comments on Rock Band 4!
