I´m not a religious person at all. But Jesus Christ! First we got a really awesome new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens (which got released yesterday), which showed a really happy Harrison Ford (“Chewy, we’re home!”) and Chewy (The Force Awakens will be shown at cinemas all over the world this Christmas).

Then EA and DICE dropped the bomb with the very first in-engine trailer (it was shown at the Star Wars Celebration event in Anaheim, USA) for “Star Wars: Battlefront” (which is set for a release on November 17th for Windows, PS4 and Xbox One). And let me tell you what, the Frostbite 3 engine looks bloody great!

This photo is actually taken from the “real” gameplay footage of Star Wars: BF.

And it´s said that Star Wars: BF will allow up to 40 players in online matches.  There will even be a split screen feature. And yes, you can actually play as Boba Fett and Darth Vader. And more playable characters will be revealed later on this year.

star wars battle of jakku

Star Wars Battlefront is getting free DLC in the shape of “The Force Awaken’s Battle of Jakku”. And it will be available on December 8th.

But hold on! There´s more good news. There will also be a free DLC (IF you pre-order the game) package called “Star Wars: Battlefront – Battle of Jakku” (which is a battle from the upcoming Star Wars movie “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”). And that DLC will be available on December 8th.

So my dear Star Wars fans, are you excited about “Star Wars: Battlefront” and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”? =)

“IMMERSE YOURSELF IN YOUR STAR WARS™ BATTLE FANTASIES Available November 17, 2015 for PlayStation 4, XBOX ONE and on Origin for PC”

“PRE-ORDER AND BE THE FIRST TO BATTLE ON THE PLANET OF JAKKU Players who pre-order Star Wars Battlefront can fight the battle one-week early on December 1, 2015. All other players will get access to this free content on December 8th, 2015.” – EA and DICE
