Ever since Sega AM2 (and Yu Suzuki) released their game “Shenmue” back in 2001. The Shenmue fans has been dieing to see a Shenmue III. But as we all know, that´s yet to come. And now, somewhat 13 years later.
There´s actually talks about making a HD version of Shenmue 1 and 2, and mr Yu Suzuki are seriously having thoughts about crowdfunding Shenmue III.
And i think that´s the right path to choose for Shenmue III (for more than one reason). Because even though Shenmue 1 and 2 kicked ass on so many levels (graphics, gameplay, music ect).
One can not deny the fact that SEGA lost a lot of money on the Shenmue series (millions and millions of dollars).
And that´s the main reason why i think that Yu Suzuki should take Shenmue III to either Kickstarter, or indiegogo (same thing goes for the HD editions of Shenmue 1 and 2). Speaking of which, if you love Shenmue just as much as i do.
Then you MUST read Deville Davidx interview (at Shenmue dojo) with mr Yu Suzuki. Because Yu talks about everything from the SEGA Saturn version of Shenmue, the Dreamcast hardware to Shenmue 4!
