It seems like Christmas has come early to those who have pre-ordered “Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3” via Play-Asia. As Play-Asia have lowered the price to PS4 from $72,99 to $59,99, and PS Vita from $64,99 to $49,99 (the prices have also been dropped for the DOAX3 collector’s editions). This became known earlier today when Play-Asia sent out a e-mail (and a handful of tweets) to their customers about the price drop for DOAX3. That´s great news for the DOA fans with no doubt, but why did Play-Asia lower the price for DOAX3? Well, it was Play-Asia´s way of saying, thank you to their fans and supporters for backing them up against those who think games such as DOAX shouldn´t exist (Play-Asia has received quite a lot of hate for selling and supporting DOAX3).

In the matter of fact, this is the thank you mail which Play-Asia sent out to us today:

“Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 prices have been dropped to 49.99 (PS Vita) and 59.99 (PS4), and we have our amazing fans and customers to thank:

As a response to the outpouring of support for both Play-Asia.com and the uncensored release of the upcoming PS4 & PS Vita title Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 we have been working to drastically reduce the price of pre-orders. As a result we have adjusted our prices for all versions of DOAX3, including the Collector’s Editions and PS4 & PS Vita Saikyou Pack! We hope that by passing on the savings to our loyal customers we are able to show a small token of our appreciation for the continued support of the gaming community.

Play-Asia.com has, and will continue to be, about bringing the global gaming community together – a philosophy that we have always been very proud of. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you, as well as reiterate our dedication to providing the products our customers want, no matter where they are in the world.

If you have already placed your pre-order for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 you will be automatically refunded the difference. However, due to the amount of standing orders please allow approximately two weeks for your refund to be fully processed.”Play-Asia

I also took the liberty to add all the links to Play-Asia´s DOAX3 product pages (as seen down below. And yes, the prices have been adjusted):

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Fortune (Multi-Language) (PlayStation 4™, ASIA) US$ 59.99

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Venus (Multi-Language) (PlayStation Vita, ASIA) US$ 49.99

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Fortune [Collector’s Edition] (Multi-Language) (PlayStation 4™, ASIA) US$ 129.99

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 [Saikyou Package] (Multi-Language) (PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4™, ASIA) US$ 299.99
