Yep, it´s true. There will be a Gears of War ultimate edition for Xbox One. And that became publicly known when some footage of the Gears of War remake leaked out on the internet. And the videos were originally spotted on the XboxDVR site. But all the footage was removed later on. However, that footage has since then been re-uploaded on Youtube again (by various Youtube users).

So you can actually watch some gameplay footage of Gears of War ultimate edition right now (if you feel like it).  I have just watched some videos from Gears of War ultimate edition, and it looks way better than the original game from 2006.

So “hopefully” we will get to see more in-game action from Gears of War ultimate edition during E3 this summer.
