Harebrained Schemes has had one Kickstarter success after another. First, it was “Shadowrun Returns” (36,276 backers pledged +$1,8 million dollars), then “Shadowrun: Hong Kong” (31,497 backers pledged +1.2 million dollars). And now it´s time for Harebrained Schemes tactical mecha combat game “BattleTech” to try its wings on Kickstarter. In fact, the “BattleTech” Kickstarter campaign will launch tomorrow. Not only that, Harebrained will also do a “BattleTech” live stream tonight (5pm GMT/10am PDT and 6pm PDT). So don´t miss out on that one!
Besides that, Harebrained Schemes also shared the following information about “BattleTech”.
“Harebrained Schemes is pleased to announce their return to Kickstarter this Fall to partner with Backers in co-funding the creation of BATTLETECH. Jordan Weisman, the creator of BattleTech and MechWarrior, is back with the first turn-based BattleTech game for PC in over two decades. Steeped in the feudal political intrigue of the BattleTech universe, the game will feature an open-ended Mercenaries-style campaign that blends RPG ‘Mech and MechWarrior management with modern turn-based tactics.”
So, are you guys excited for “BattleTech”? And will you back the game on Kickstarter?
