Many, many years ago there was a really good RTS/action series called “Myth” (Bungie made part 1 and 2. MumboJumbo made part III).
And the first two games ruled so darn hard. I had tons of fun with Myth 1 and 2 (Myth 3 ain´t a bad game. But it´s not even close to the epicness of Myth 1 and 2).
But sadly enough there haven’t been a game like Myth for years and years. Well, that´s about to change.
Because “Deadhold” are inspired by both Myth and DOTA2 (what a great mix!), and the developer vlog videos made me both interested and curious about Deadhold.
So, yeah. I´m going to keep a close eye on Deadhold from now on!
“I’m excited by Deadhold’s ambition to bridge the gap between tactical RTS and MOBA. The careful maneuvering, formations, use of terrain and unit specialties that players loved in Myth, plus the frenetic back-and-forth of a game like LoL promises to be a powerful combination indeed. Cannot wait to play this.”- Doug Zartman – Former Bungie PR Director
