I know that everyone is waiting eagerly for Bethesda´s “Fallout 4” (which is set for a release on the 10th of November) to be released, including myself and everyone, I know. However, since the release is more than one month away. One must find “other” things to do in the mean while to ease the pain of not having “Fallout 4” in your life. Which is exactly what I did, as I found out about a really neat post-apocalyptic game this morning. Sure, Talecrafter´s awesome post-apocalyptic cyberpunk RPG “ Death Trash” (for Windows, MAC and Linux) won´t be released until sometime next year. Nevertheless, just looking through some of the games pictures made me forget about “Fallout 4” for a brief moment at least. And please allow me to tell you why. “Death Trash” is like a mix of “Fallout 2” and old-school “Shadowrun“, and the game is also Inspired by other RPG gems such as “Ultima 7” and “Planescape: Torment.” And that alone should make you really interested in “Death Trash.”
That´s just the half of it though, as “Death Trash.” Offer the same kind of dark and bizarre humor as Fallout 1-2 does (there is quite a lot of bad language to be found in “Death Trash.”). In other words, you will laugh in the face of death from time to time. Then again, when you´re trying to survive in a very hostile post-apocalyptic world (where everything, and everyone tries to kill you). A good laugh is probably worth just as much as water, gasoline, weapons, food or medics. Besides that, I really like the look and feel of “Death Trash.” (the character and enemy design is really cool, in my opinion). So, yeah. I´m going to keep a close eye on this post-apocalyptic bad boy for sure (I really hope that I will get to play an early build of the game asap!). Speaking of which, there is no gameplay video for the game just yet I’m afraid. However, you will find tons of pictures via the “Death Trash” tumblr page.
