Today is a good day for those who like games with pixel graphics, because we were just informed by HeroCraft (the makers of “Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf “, “Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim” with many others) that they are going to release two new pixel games in November (HeroCraft has named the double release “Pixel November”):
“Hello! This year Herocraft has a “Pixel November” – we’ll release two games with pixel graphics but absolutely different in genre – meditative quest and fast rogelike game.” – HeroCraft
So, which games would that be then? Well, in this case “Super Turbo Demon Busters!” and “Odysseus Kosmos“:
“Odysseus Kosmos and his Robot Quest – game for oldschool quests lovers (+ robotic humour). It’s the story about space engineer Odysseus, who is waiting for his crew near the Black hole and killing time with sarcastic robot Barton.
Game has been developing for one year by programmer (and writer) Pavel Kostin and Roman (he’s an artist). In devblog Pavel wrote he’s disappointed by the modern “visual novels”, so he decided to make the game in the spirit of classic Monkey Island and Space Quest. Also OK has a special mode for blind people.” – HeroCraft
“Super Turbo Demon Busters! – Mouse-only project, looked like it came from old arcade machine. Quick (for the slow pace it can punish you), bright rogelike game about mercenaries group, crushing monsters on the infected planet. March, 2015 we launched the STDB ancestor – Dead Shell (iOS/Android). Than we thought it would be great to get it on PC, so we’re going to build our own Dead Shell with mouse and pixels.” – HeroCraft
So, are you guys and girls excited for “Odysseus Kosmos” and “Super Turbo Demon Busters!”? =) Let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!
