Time sure does fly you by when you’re having a lot of fun. My point would be that it’s been over eight months since I wrote my PC preview for appSide Down’s awesome 2.5D arcade/auto run platformer “Escape Doodland“. Well, I haven’t heard all that much about “Escape Doodland” ever since I published my PC preview of the game. That’s also why I got quite happy and surprised at the same time when appSide Down informed us that they have launched their Kickstarter campaign for “Escape Doodland” (the game is said to launch for PC sometime during Q2 this year):
“Hi Robin! Escape Doodland Kickstarter campaign is finally live! We’ve prepared a lot of awesome stuff for you! The game in the lowest possible price, early access with all 10 levels and a lot of fancy goodies like t-shirts, bags, badges, figures and more. So come and get it!” – appSide Down
Well, long story short. The idea would be for appSide Down to raise 10,000 CAD via Kickstarter within 38 days henceforth (“Escape Doodland” has managed to collect +500 CAD so far). Sure, that’s quite a lot of money. Even so, I firmly believe that “Escape Doodland” will reach its Kickstarter goal on time, because it’s a really fun and good game (you don’t have to take my word for it, just watch my demo playthrough video of “Escape Doodland” instead!).
Nevertheless, I still wish appSide Down the best of luck on Kickstarter 😉
