As some of you might remember, back in December last year we dropped the news about Lu Studios and Swivel Creations plans to release the classic 80’s game “Bounder” for mobile during Q1 this year. Well, it seems like “Bounder” is also making its way to PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PS Vita. You see, just a couple of days ago “Bounder” tweeted out the following via their official Twitter account:
“Announcement time! I’ve officially secured all rights to “Bounder” for all major platforms: Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS Vita and XBox One. Plans are to release a new version of “Bounder” for a whole new market but also include the c64, Speccy, Amstrad versions for retro gamers.” – Bounder via Twitter
This is some really good news for those who like old games and just happens to own a PS4, Xbox One, Switch or PSV Vita console.
In other words, PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PS Vita owners should be able to play “Bounder” in the near future. So I wish everyone involved in the “Bounder” project the best of luck with everything. Other than that, I just noticed that Matt Riz (Matt is one of the game developers behind the mobile version of “Bounder”) uploaded a gameplay video for the iOS version of “Bounder” not so long ago (the video was uploaded back in January of this year):
“Ok it’s here, here’s a brief video of our game Bounder due for release very soon on mobile. For those of you that doesn’t know, we have re-created Bounder on Mobile which includes the C64, Spectrum and Amstrad versions, which are re-coded for mobile and includes new features. Please LIKE / SHARE / RETWEET and spread the word, thank you for all your support!!!” – Matt Riz, Swivel Creations via Youtube
