It’s been quite a long time since I heard anything about ““12 Is Better Than 6” (don’t miss out on our ““12 Is Better Than 6” interview!). That’s also why I got quite pleasantly surprised when HypeTrain Digital informed us that “12 Is Better Than 6: The Apostles” is coming to Steam by tomorrow (December the 6th to be exact):
“¡Hola, Robin! An action-packed story full of danger and adventure is back! A Western shooting game “12 Is Better Than 6”, finally returns in “The Apostles”, a downloadable add-on, available on Steam on 12/06! At $4.99, it sure is a steal! (requires base “12 Is Better Than 6” game to play)“. Wild horse chases, mountain river races, train robberies and enemies you’ve never seen before – all of this and more will wait for you in “12 Is Better Than 6: Apostles”, releasing on Steam December 6, 2017!” – HypeTrain Digital
Well, that’s some really great news for the fans of “12 Is Better Than 6″ with no doubt (don’t forget to check out our “12 Is Better Than 6″ game play video). So, what exactly does “12 Is Better Than 6: The Apostles” offer in terms of new content and features then? Well, here’s what HypeTrain Digital told us:
“12 Is Better Than 6 is a top-down shooter with a unique hand-drawn look, and The Apostles offers a new playable story chapter with three brand-new playable characters – each with his own unique playstyle and abilities:
Bill Watt
The leader of a Mexican crime gang, who brings bloody chaos along with him wherever he goes – with the help of his Six-Barreled Shotgun and his righteous followers, who follow his every order.
Slippery Pit
A cunning fraud, who doesn’t handle firearms very well. However, he makes up for it with his love for booby traps and other similar contraptions.
Indian Warrior
A brave avenger who despises all weapons of the white man. All of them. Except Dynamite.
New mechanics:
– Horse chase – this is what Westerns are supposed to have, right? Actual horse chase in a desert!
– River rafting – you appear on a raft in the middle of a river, what would you do? Shoot and pray to gods, of course!
– Rob two trains, because one is never enough.
New enemies:
– Berserk – a barrage of bullets and contempt for his own death. No one’s joking around in Mexico!
– Dynamite-equipped Foes – fences and fallen tables are not the safe protection they used to be.”
And with that said, are you guys and girls excited for the release of “12 Is Better Than 6: The Apostles”? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!
