Brianna Wu is currently gathering an array of media hype for some unknown reason, aside from her clear support for Rep. Katherine Clark a fellow feminist and politician, she’s claiming just now that she’s been the subject of Doxxing. For those unaware, Doxxing is the practice of releasing private information to the general public in an attempt to cite harassment for said people.
Wu’s colleagues and even friends have shown history of using such practices themselves. The odd thing about this sudden announcement is that she is currently at a conference, holding a speech on speech on the very subject and isn’t aware of her online presence. By this, I mean that she has people in heron inner circle that could be doing the very deed themselves. No they would never—but wouldn’t they Brianna? Let’s take a look at who she has as an ally, and we can prove that there’s more to this story.
Zoé Quinn
Zoé is a well-known liar, thief, and scarlet letter branded game developer who has issued a gag order against heron ex-boyfriend. Now I’m no legal expert, or social justice warrior, but I would say that institutes harassment, and Doxxing in some form.
Anita Sarkeesian
Anita stole the artwork from An FEMALE freelance artist, and got lawyers involved after the artist asked for evidence Non-profit status. She’s also received money for a speech, canceled the speech and still got paid thousands. Her web series Tropes vs. Women is handpicked gameplay and stolen video clips from YouTube gamers which she uses to describe acts of violence against women. The aspects of violence against men go unmentioned since that’s about 90% of the gameplay aspects and dialogue.
Rep. Katherine Clark
Katherine Clark is an US congresswoman which has made her allegiance with Brianna Wu and Zoe Quinn abundantly clear. Not only has she failed to recognize that the tactics and laws she wishes to implement will hinder freedom of speech and scar democracy, she shows little regard for her male constituents as she show named female “social justice warriors,” as her heroes.
What’s worse-she singlehandedly marched Zoe Quinn to the halls of Congress to speak publicly about the fantasized harassment that she suffers from. Now let’s be honest about a few relevant facts. Past Aug 2014, no one cares about Zoe Quinn. She’s basically old news as far as GamerGate is concerned. Katherine Clark is a new type of problem for freedom of speech and public press. She’s the kind that has the power because of her influence with Congress. It provides her the biggest soapbox in the world—with a paycheck to boot. One thing is abundantly clear about Katherine Clark and her status with feminists and social media. It’s coming to a close.
Once next election-year rolls around Katherine Clark will most likely not get re-elected to her district since she hasn’t done her job. Her constituents aren’t happy with her performance and her latest allegiance with feminism and involving herself in Gamergate isn’t looking too good either. For now, we’ll have to wait and see what becomes of the alleged Doxxing of Brianna Wu, and if Katherine Clark gets involved (we know she will), then the agenda will be clear.
Shout out in the comments if you’re in Rep. K. Clark’s district and let us know your thoughts.
