The campaign for “Chronicle of Innsmouth: Mountains of Madness” has reached 100% on Kickstarter two weeks before the end of the campaign and unlocks the stretch goals!
Milan, 16 November 2018 – “Mountains of Madness“, the graphic adventure inspired by the stories of the horror master H.P. Lovecraft, has reached its Kickstarter goal (thanks to over 300 backers!) with two weeks still left to go on it’s Kickstarter campaign.
PsychoDev now focuses on stretch goals, including the goals of converting the game for iOs, Android and Switch and to dedicate themselves to an additional chapter of the game, as inspired by H.P.Lovecraft’s story “The Horror at Red Hook”.
These following steps are of primary importance to PsychoDev: the translation into French, German and Spanish. The voicing of the entire game in English is another fundamental steps to go, all ingredients that sealed the success of the first game of the Saga, Chronicle of Innsmouth. The playable Demo offers the possibility to play H.P. Lovecraft, and listen to his voice, in the prelude that opens the story of Mountains of Madness.
To celebrate the achievement of 100% of the campaign, PsychoDev will soon release a new pledge dedicated to all campaign backers: You can write your own epitaph and, along with your name, this will be included in a special scene dedicated to Kickstarter supporters: the Christchurch Cemetery!
PsychoDev was created by the union of a team of professionals combining their extensive experience in the field of video games and of graphic adventures in particular (including Detective Cock; Little Briar Rose; The Wardrobe; Tales; Shadows on the Vatican etc.)
The first PsychoDev project, Chronicle of Innsmouth, is an adventure game based on “The Shadow Over Innsmouth” by H.P.Lovecraft. Chronicle instantly stole the hearts of Lovecraft fans who pushed for the team to create a physical boxed version of the game, which quickly sold out. The new project in the saga is Mountains of Madness. Due to be released in 2019, this next chapter should surprise and delight fans, both old and new to the series, with its fresh modernized style.
