Tomasz Wacławek, the creator of Ronin, is proud to announce that his newest game launches today on Steam! Play Immortal Planet – an unusual, unforgiving title that will suck you in like Blighttown swamp.

Press release:
July 28th, Warsaw, Poland – An icy, mysterious planet harbors warriors that never perish. Touched by the curse of immortality, they will forever haunt you… Eager to face them already, aren’t you? Eager to fight, die, and repeat? If you’re a fan of the Dark Souls series, Immortal Planet is something that develops on its ideas and can offer you a great deal of the challenge you are seeking.

Patience, focus, and strategy – remember them when you face the numerous types of enemies in Immortal Planet. Defeating them won’t be a piece of cake – it’ll require resilience. If you’re the kind of player that’s looking for easy, effortless victories, this title is not for you. Immortal Planet, as its creator describes it, is “a love letter to Dark Souls” – dying over and over again is something to look forward to.

Because of the new approach used in the game, you’ll be able to observe the stamina bar of your opponents, which will be essential when figuring out how to defeat them. Plan tactics, test your opponents, and don’t get yourself killed… too often. Let’s face it, you’ll never have enough of Immortal Planet!

IMMORTAL PLANET’S MAIN FEATURES
– Souls-like Progression: Recover experience lost upon death and use it to upgrade your character. Customize your playstyle with dozens of items and spells.
– Methodical Combat: Patience and focus are much more important than reflexes. Block, dodge, and tackle enemies while managing your stamina. You can see enemy stamina and exploit it to stun them when they are exhausted.
– Tight Level Design: Levels are designed around single checkpoints from which you explore the surrounding area. Levels feature many unlockable shortcuts so you are always progressing no matter what.
– Intense Boss Fights: Every level features a powerful boss enemy. Fights with these enemies are multi-stage struggles that are a real test of skill and determination.

The game launches today July 28th on Steam at a price of $14.99. You can find it here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/631980/Immortal_Planet/.
