Press release:
Salerno, January 22 2020.
The Italy-based indie games developer PsychoDev are today very pleased and excited to announce that their upcoming new horror adventure game “Chronicle of Innsmouth: Mountains of Madness” is coming to PC on February 16th, 2021.

The game will be available for adventure gamers worldwide on Steam and Itch for the price of 17.99€/19.99$ (with a 10% launch discount).

After a successful Kickstarter campaign, the time has finally come to assume the role of P.I. Lone Carter in this exciting new horror adventure. A team of scientists are attempting to be the first to reach a previously unknown chain of mountains high than the Himalayas. Within a huge cavern they discover the alien bodies of heretofore unknown creatures frozen in the ice walls. We will also travel to ancient Yemen, playing as Abdul Alhazred – “The Mad Arab,” the creator of the Necronomicon – and even step into the shoes of H.P. Lovecraft himself, guiding him along the path to unveil the mysteries of his bloodline.

Mountains of Madness is a graphic adventure, oozing with twisty dread, which will drag all who play it to the very limits of their sanity… and perhaps beyond!

Developed by Psychodev, Mountains of Madness is the second chapter in the “Chronicle of Innsmouth” saga, with dozens of puzzles and characters to interact with, an atmospheric soundtrack and wonderful retro-styled pixel art rendered in 640×480 resolution.
