Press release:
December 13, 2017 – Bonn, Germany – Zein Okko, the game designer of the award winning Typoman, and Kevin Glaap are currently working on an episodic story-driven hacking adventure. Code 7 is already available on Steam and other digital stores. You can download Episode 0 for free, and also purchase the whole season. However, we have heard our fans’ feedback and we are more than happy to announce the first episode will be available standalone very soon. We understand how important offering different purchasing options is, and we continue to work hard to offer them.
We also think everyone should be able to enjoy games, and that’s why we’ve worked very hard to implement a mode that allows blind players and players with sight difficulties to play Code 7. This mode is now available, Wednesday 13th, and uses text-to-speech to deliver the same experience, breaking one of the biggest barriers of our industry. Please help us to spread the word with the tag #gamingwithoutbarriers. Moreover, as part of this initiative, 10% of Code 7 sales from now to Dec 26th will go to blista.de. blista is a competence center for blind and visually-impaired people and at the same time an open and lively education and meeting site for all ages.
In our commitment to make games more accessible to everyone we strongly believe in localization, specially those games with strong narrative component like Code 7. That way every player can enjoy these thrilling adventures in their native language. Besides English language, you are now able to download a new update that includes German translation for the Episode 0 and the Episode 1 (consisting of +25,000 words). More languages will be supported in the future.
In addition, we want to thank our great community and their support (100% positive reviews on Steam) with new features like the compatibility with Razor Chroma keyboards, allowing you to bring immersion to the next level. Thanks to this, Razor Chroma keyboard owners will be able to bring the game out of the screen, seeing how their keys react to every action in game. Thanks to its design, Code 7 is a very immersive title, but this feature will break the fourth wall and make you live the adventure.
About Goodwolf
