The Belgium-based indie games developer Maratus Games are today very happy and excited to announce that thanks to 500 backers on Kickstarter, their story-driven RPG “ARISEN: Chronicles of Var’Nagal” is now over 111% fumded via Kickstarter (that means that the production and development costs of “ARISEN: Chronicles of Var’Nagal” are now all covered).
Furthermore, Maratus Games also announced that “ARISEN: Chronicles of Var’Nagal” is coming to PC via Steam in 2021.
ARISEN: Chronicles of Var’Nagal is a narrative role playing game using beautiful hand-drawn aesthetics tarot cards to make choices in your story. During this unique journey, you will embark on an adventure to seek liberty, build relationships and influence deeply the world around you.
ARISEN: Chronicles of Var’Nagal shall be released to PC in spring 2021.

By using the ARISEN: Chronicles of Var’Nagal Card System, you will use a deck of cards based on your emotions, and feelings that empower each one of your decisions. As you can fall in love you may also have a nemesis that you shall want to murder… Depending on every choice, you will be able to discover multiple endings and story resolutions.

Maratus is an indie video game development studio based in Mons, Belgium, and born during the Creative Jam held in the city in 2018. Since then, Anaïs, Elene, Sylvain and Wendy joined together and started the development of ARISEN: Chronicles of Var’Nagal in February 2019.
