  • I’ve read stories of Swedish, UK, Australian, Canadian and Norwegian Customs (the people who open up and inspect parcels from abroad) seizing anime figurines and video games which are/features suggestive characters that are deemed “underage”. This is most likely true in the case of Australia because some of these kinds of games are banned over there.

    • That’s just beyond messed up…I’m not surprised to hear it though, and matters just keeps on getting worse and worse in Sweden….So those who can are now leaving the country.

      • It’s really messed up.

That’s why when you order and import items like this from Japan, Korea, etc., sometimes they send it without the box, or change it to a plain discreet box, meaning that it’ll be more likely to pass through Customs.

The reason for no box or changing of the box is because the original boxes have images of the anime character or the figurine on it, or it has the transparent plastic where you can see the figurine inside. If it looks “underage”, it’ll probably be seized in the countries I mentioned.

In worst cases, people have told me that in Canada they know people who have had the police visit their house because they ordered/imported scantily-clad anime “l0li” figurines. Basically what happened was a Canadian Customs officer inspected it, deemed it a “problem” and contacted the police. I’ve been told that the person has had his name and address recorded into a police database and is automatically placed on suspicion of possessing child pr0n, all because he ordered a figurine from Japan.

The West and Europe are really cracking down on this now, and I’ve been told that feminists are responsible for it – you know the controversy they created in the media about sex doll robots? Well apparently this has influenced and resulted in an unofficial rule where Customs officers and police are confiscating anything that is sexually-suggestive-underage-human-looking… be it toys, figurines, dolls, etc.

So if you’re thinking of importing anime “l0li” figurines or media into any of the countries I mentioned, you better pray that the Customs officer doesn’t find it a “problem”, otherwise you might get the police knocking on your door.

          – Ah ha, so that’s why they do that…That must be a real pain in the ass for collectors and whatnot.

          – I’m going to be very honest with you now. I’m far from stupid, and I can see where this is going. The West is falling apart, and the it’s just a matter of time before it comes crashing down on us. So it’s no longer about saving the ship, but all about trying to save yourself and those around you by bringing them to the lifeboats.

          – I already live in a North Korea light country, so it’s just going to get worse over time…
