Paris, France – September, 28 2016 – DotEmu, developer and publisher specializing in modern releases of beloved retro games, and Lizardcube, are thrilled to announce a series of Dev Diaries of Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap.
En route to BitSummit 4th in Kyoto, Japan to debut this brand-new version of the popular game, Omar Cornut , development lead, and Ben Fiquet, art director, had the opportunity to meet Ryuichi Nishizawa, creator of the Wonder Boy series.
Our first Dev Diary episode, now available on YouTube, includes insights into the project’s origins, exclusive game images, and some anecdotes from Nishizawa-san concerning the original version!
