Thursday, 28 November 2024, Cambridge, UK.
The Cambridge-based (the UK) video games publisher and developer Jagex and Zagreb-based (Croatia) indie games developer Gamepires, today announced with great joy and excitement that they have just released the 0.96 (“Fame Seekers”) update for their multiplayer open-world survival game “SCUM“ (the said update is available right now for PC via Steam Early Access).
Eagerly anticipated by players, Quests provide an all-new way to play, progress, and earn rewards in SCUM, with hundreds of quests to complete across multiple quest types. Unlock new quests from mobile phones, notice boards, and traders, and embark on challenging new Fetch, Kill, and Interact tasks across both PvE and multiplayer modes.
Back at base, defend your territory with Turrets, an advanced base-building element designed to defend against all threats on the Island. This long-requested feature significantly changes the dynamics of the game, providing additional security for new and experienced players looking to defend their base from intruders. A visual overhaul to base building alongside improvements to object placement introduced with today’s update also lets players personalise their base however they see fit.
