I don’t know if you boys and girls still remember it, but back in June last year we hosted a giveaway for Cowcat and Diabolical Mind’s 8-bit/16-bit twin-stick shooter/arcade game “Riddled Corpses EX“?

“Riddled Corpses EX” is a very action intense 8-bit/16-bit twin-stick shooter/arcade game (games like “Super Contra”, “Metal Slug” and “Fester’s Quest” comes to mind).

Well, I haven’t heard all that much about the game since then. However, funny enough, the silence was just broken. You see, Cowcat just informed us that “Riddled Corpses EX” is coming to the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo Eshop on March 2nd ::

I’d like to announce that “Riddled Corpses EX” will be released on Nintendo E-Shop on March 2, 2019!

Riddled Corpses EX is a twin-stick shooter reminiscent of 80/90’s arcade games with fast action and fun gameplay. This is a remaster of Diabolical Mind’s first game exclusively for consoles which improves speed (60 FPS), adds story elements and a two-player coop mode – among other things.” – Cowcat

Now that I think about it, “Riddled Corpses EX” also made me think about games such as “Cyberdogs” and “Zombies Ate My Neighbors”.

In other words, if you’re into 8-bit/16-bit twin-stick shooter/arcade games and just happen to own a Nintendo Switch console, then keep your eyes open for “Riddled Corpses EX” on the Nintendo Eshop in March!
