I still remember when Capcom released their RPG cult classic “Breath of Fire III” for the Playstation 1 (this was back in 1998), as I enjoyed the game quite a bit at the time. However, it would take many years before I picked up the game again. Well, to be exact. I gave “Breath of Fire III” another go to the PlayStation Portable around 2006 sometime. I´ve lost track of the series since then though. Even so, I got quite excited when I heard that Capcom has released Breath of Fire III (the PSP version) via PNS in North America (you can buy the game for $9,99). Sure, I don´t live in America, but I bet that the game will be released via PSN in EU as well.
Any ways, this is the actual product description for the PSN version of “Breath of Fire III”:
“A dragon reborn in flames… a small boy on the run… a destiny waiting for you…
He is the last of an extinct race, one with unimaginable powers. Ryu is a dormant dragon, awakened by miners, transformed into an innocent child. Now, as an outcast from society, Ryu must remember his fiery past and regain his powers so he can fulfill his epic destiny…
Dragons return. The massively popular role-playing legend comes to PSN, now with widescreen support and a stand-alone fishing mode.
Unique experience. Mold your hero each time you play, with 987 possible dragon transformations.
Tactical combat. Quick reflexes can trigger additional devastating attacks! Unleash fiery retribution on your enemies.
