I´m sure glad that I didn´t close down my computer just now, because I (Robin Ek, TGG) was just informed by Crescent moon games via Twitter that their shooter/platformer/adventure game “Morphite” has landed on Steam Greenlight (a game which is said to be inspired by games such as “Metroid Prime“, “Ratchet and Clank“, and “Turok”). Furthermore, Crescent also told me that they´ve just uploaded a trailer for “Morphite” as well (you can watch the trailer further down the page).

I don´t know about you, but I think that “Morphite” looks like a pretty cool sci-fi shooter/platformer.
Well, I just watched the trailer, and I have to say that “Morphite” looks pretty darn good so far =) And the same could also be said about the said features for the game:
Features:
– Beautiful Stylized Low-Poly Look
– Environmental puzzle solving
– Scan creatures to sell their bio information to upgrade your ship and weapons.
– Find various upgrades throughout your adventures.
– Huge bosses to battle
– Navigate the stars with an easy to use Starmap system.
– Random encounters aboard your ship
– Real-time space combat
– Space trading
– Resource collection and trading
– Find random weapons and vehicles on various planets
– Upgrade your suit to survive harsher conditions
– Fully voiced main storyline
So if you like what you have seen from “Morphite” so far, then you might consider giving the game your vote on Steam Greenlight.
