I honestly have no idea how I could have missed out on the Steam release for ILLUSION’s +18 lewd girlfriend simulator VR game “VR Kanojo“. I mean, it’s a very well received title (just check the positive feedback and reviews on Steam). Anyways, I just wanted to inform you boys and girls that “VR Kanojo” is out now via Steam =) (you can play the game on either Oculus Rigt, HTC Vive or via SteamVR) So the game could be all yours for 45,99 Euros (don’t forget to download the free +18 patch!).
Nice indeed, but what is “VR Kanojo” all about then? Well, here’s the actual game description by ILLUSION themselves:
“Looking for a unique VR experience? Well, look no further! In VR Kanojo, you can hang out with the lovely girl-next-door, Sakura Yuuhi. You’ll practically feel her breath on your cheek and the warmth of her fingers on your arm as you laugh and talk the day away. Better yet, VR controllers simulate your hands in-game, letting you interact with her more directly. Just imagine all the possibilities!Oh yeah! And you can customize Sakura’s appearance with a variety of different outfits too. Sound like fun? You bet it is!So, thanks for buying VR Kanojo, and we hope you enjoy your time with Sakura Yuuhi!” – ILLUSION
In other words, “VR Kanojo” is a 3D eroge kind of VR experience, the kind of experience that allows you to do a lot of lewd “stuff” in the game (such as looking, smelling, taking photos and touching the girls). I for one have never played or heard of a game of this kind before. So for me, this is a brand-new kind of “experience”. That’s also why I’m happy to inform you all that I’m buying a new Gaming rig + a VR headset asap! Because more and more game devs have asked us to review VR games for PC.
Anyways, I think you get the idea. So I be sure to give “VR Kanojo” a try as soon as I got a new Gaming rig and a VR-headset. So, yes, I will of course review the game as soon as possible. I would also like to point out that one shouldn’t confuse “VR Kanojo” (a +18 title) with the “Summer Lesson” (It’s a +12 PSVR title by NAMCO) game, because the latter is not an adult-only game. I just wanted to clarify this to avoid any potential mix ups and such (let’s just say that I wouldn’t want to be blamed for what a confused parent might buy and install for his or her kid or kids…).
And with that said, what’s your take on “VR Kanojo” so far? And will you buy the game for PC? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!
