"Stay! Stay!" has started a meme war with SJWs

I don’t know if you boys and girls still remember the OP that I (Robin Ek, TGG) wrote about DEVGRU-P’s tank dating simulator “Panzermadels“? (we published that post back in March, 2016). Well, guess what? Last night, DEVGRU-P reached out to us on Twitter and told us a really bizarre and crazy story about their North Korean based visual novel/dating simulator “Stay! Stay!” (the game launched on Steam back in May). So, what exactly did DEVGRU-P tell us then? Well, I was told that a handful of people (SJWs, to be exact) went absolutely nuts due to the existence of “Stay! Stay!”.

Yes, you guess it. “Stay! Stay!” is a lewd dating simulator.

I have a feeling that this might be another reason why “some” people are really salty and upset by “Stay! Stay!” *cough cough*

So what is “Stay! Stay!” all about then? And why did these people get offended and triggered by the game’s content? Well, one clue is to be found in the pictures above (SJWs don’t like lewd games all that much), and another clue is to be found in the actual description of the game:

“Stay! Stay! Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is made by ‘DEVGRU-P’ a small team of American developers in the style of a classic work of literature Japanese Visual Novel. You know exactly what we’re doing here… Don’t lie. With two different romance plot-lines and a multiple of endings based on your choices, Stay! Stay! Democratic People’s Republic of Korea will keep you entertained for a number of playthroughs!

Try and navigate your way through one of the world’s most tightly controlled dictatorships, with two cute soldiers by your side. Avoid getting shot, executed, black-bagged, or tried for treason as you explore Pyongyang’s most famous tourist attractions.

Stay! Stay! Democratic People’s Republic of Korea will bring all the heart-warming, non-offensive humor you expect from a DEVGRU-P game! In Stay! Stay! DPRK, you will be able to…
– Go on vacation.
– See North Korea Best Korea.
– Travel around with cute tour guides military police officers.
– Date Them.
– Also there’s probably a hot spring or something.
– Supports one-handed gameplay *wink wink*.
– We know what you’re here for.” – DEVGRU-P

This appears to be the one tweet that started a chain reaction of angry tweets and whatnot aimed towards DEVGRU-P.

Let the meme war against the SJWs begin!

Even so, it still appears as of DEVGRU-P’s tweets about “Stay! Stay!” were the main reason behind the outcry that followed on Twitter as of lately. You know, on a personal level. I have seen a lot of crazy and salty comments over the years on Twitter. Nevertheless, I can’t remember the last time I saw anything quite like the tweets that Sam Wu (ex-Dreamworks TV employee) tweeted out to DEVGRU-P (as seen in the pictures and links down below). Well, at least not when it comes to video games, because Wu was so disgusted and angry with “Stay! Stay!” that she tweeted out about 50 salty tweets to DEVGRU-P in two days time (that’s quite a lot of heated tweets…).

I think it’s safe to say that Sam Wu (and some other SJW folks) doesn’t like “Stay! Stay!” and DEVGRU-P all that much.

I don’t get how someone could get this salty over a dating simulator. Especially since it’s about love and not war.

Well, what can I say really? “Stay! Stay!” is just a game. So I don’t get all that hard feelings that Sam Wu and others have towards DEVGRU-P and “Stay! Stay!”. I mean, it’s not like it’s quite obvious that the game is a satire or anything, right? Because I think that most people could easily tell that “Stay! Stay!” isn’t really taking itself all that seriously (you don’t even have to take my word for it, just check out the trailer for yourself down below). Nevertheless, I think there is more to this matter than reaches the eye, because DEVGRU-P also told me that Wu seem to be against all uses of cute Asian girls in media because it’s “fetishising“.

I don’t know if this means that you will get a chance at having twice as much fun, or if they are just teasing you with the thought of getting some sexy time with them.

So who knows, maybe Wu and others wouldn’t have been as salty if the girls had been Latin instead of Asian? (that wouldn’t have made any sense att all, but you get the idea). Well, we will never know for sure I guess. One thing is certain though, a lot of players are enjoying “Stay! Stay!” a whole lot at the moment (the Steam feedback and reviews are very positive). So I’m rather tempted to give the game a try myself :3
