Today is a very good day if you just happen to be a fan of Nightdive studios “System Shock” remake, because yesterday it became publicly known that there will be a PS4 version of “System Shock”. And not only that, there will be a “System Shock” remix album as well. And since I uploaded the unofficial remixes for “System Shock 1” and “System Shock 2” back in the days. I´m very excited about the upcoming “System Shock” remix album, especially since the album will feature both Celldweller and Blue Stahli. And “if” I (and you) are really lucky, Nightdive studios might just pick up on my suggestion to ask KMFDM and Trent Reznor to make some music for the album as well.

Yep, the “System Shock” remix album now features both Celldweller and Blue Stahli!

And funny enough, when I tweeted that out to the official “System Shock” Twitter account. Celldweller (the official  account) liked the idea so much so that he (Klayton) RT:ed my tweet (as seen in the picture down below):

The moment when Celldweller RT:ed my Tweet about KMFDM and Trent Reznor.

And while I´m on the subject. I would like to see the following bands and artists on the “System Shock” Remake album:
KMFDM
Noir Deco
Mick Gordon
Nine Inch Nails
Chipzel
M O O N
Perturbator
Lazerhawk
Dubmood
MegaDrive
Ministry
Rammstein
Fear Factory
Rob Zombie

That´s of course just wishful thinking on my behalf, but one is allowed to daydream right? Nevertheless, it sure feels good to know that Celldweller and Blue Stahli are ready to kick-out the jams at on the “System Shock” remake album at least. So I guess that I just have to wait and see if anyone from my list will join the lineup for the “System Shock” remix album, time will tell. One thing is for sure though, I´m super excited about the album and a lot of PS4 users got quite happy when they heard that there will be a PS4 version of “System Shock” (as seen in the trailer down below).

I don´t know about you, but I think that the PS4 trailer for “System Shock” looked really good.

Nice indeed. However, some people didn´t quite believe what they saw in the PS4 trailer (viewers even compared the trailer to “Mighty No.9). Well, I haven´t played the PS4 version. At least not yet, but I have played through the early alpha demo for PC (several times even). And I really enjoyed the demo (minus the bugs and crashes), and from what I saw in the PS4 trailer. The game seems to run on 60fps, and what you see in the trailer is probably what you’re going to experience in the PS4 demo of “System Shock” remake (since the PC trailer are very close to what I experienced in the PC demo of the game).

Nevertheless, Nightdive studios have quite a lot tweaking, game balancing and bugs to sort out before the game launches on PC, PS4 and Xbox One in December next year (I gave them my preview and my error log not so long ago). So  truly hope that Nightdive will be able to sort everything out on time, because if they manage to do that. Then I´m quite certain that the game will become a worthy remake of the original cyberpunk cult classic “System Shock” (the game originally launched back in 1994).
