The Netherlands-based video game developer and publisher Vertigo Games (the VR specialist publishing and development arm of the Koch Media Group), are today very happy and excited to announce that their post-apocalyptic co-op action FPS VR game “After the Fall” is coming to PSVR and PC on December 9th, 2021.

Vertigo Games, the VR specialist publishing and development arm of the global Koch Media Group, have announced that their biggest project to date, the fast-paced 4-player co-op VR action FPS After the Fall is coming to PlayStation VR, PC VR and Oculus Quest 2 on December 9, 2021. The Oculus Quest 1 release will follow in 2022.

Best-known for the platinum-selling VR FPS Arizona Sunshine®, with this next major entry in the VR action FPS genre, Vertigo Games brings fast-paced co-op action to VR gamers worldwide with full cross-platform multiplayer support.

In After the Fall, civilization was ground to a halt in the 1980’s by a new ice age threatening to drive humanity to extinction. Experiments conducted in a desperate attempt to make humans more resilient against the cold went horribly wrong, giving birth to ferocious undead creatures called snowbreed, mutated and twisted by the relentless cold.

Roughly twenty years later, mankind is driven underground and its survival depends on the Harvest Runners, survivors courageous enough to venture out into the snowbreed infested wasteland to bring back vital supplies.

Players will venture out into the remains of a frozen, post-apocalyptic LA, wield deadly weapons and 80’s inspired technology with real-life movements, and develop their own combat style as they join forces with players worldwide going head to head with hordes and towering bosses in a bid to leave the city a better place than their predecessors.

Developed by Vertigo Studios (Arizona Sunshine) and published by Vertigo Games, After the Fall is coming to PlayStation VR, PC VR and Oculus Quest 2 on December 9th, 2021, with the Oculus Quest 1 release to follow in 2022.
