Press release:
March 21, 2022.
The UK-based Retro-indie games publisher Bitmap Soft are today very happy and excited to announced that the retro puzzle game “In the Dark” is now available for pre-order to the Game Boy in the shape of an actual physical Game Boy cartridge.
“In the Dark” is a brain-teasing assembly of puzzles where there is but one goal – turn off all of the lights. Each light when turned on or off will flip the states of the ones around it.
If you love retro puzzle games, In the Dark is set in a cruiser-class ship orbiting a barren planet in the Rigel system. Investigate an unidentified distress signal with Ikalo Pann, the Captain of the Star Leviathan by navigating through the debris surrounding the derelict ship.
Solve the puzzles to bypass the locks, before the backup power drains. Enjoy 3-5 hours of gameplay with over 500 puzzle combinations.
Features:
– A Story Mode with 100 progressively harder curated puzzles.
– With over 500 possible puzzle combinations, Random Mode offers countless hours of casual puzzling fun
– Unlockable Palette Variants.
– 3-5 hrs of gameplay with high replayability
– Super Game Boy support with custom SGB Border
