SAN DIEGO – November 15, 2021.
Psyonix, the San Diego video game developer, today announced that “Rocket League Sideswipe”, a brand-new, standalone free “Rocket League” game for mobile devices begins Pre-Season today in Oceania on iOS and Android.

Additional regions will go live throughout November leading up to a Worldwide Pre-Season coming soon.

Rocket League Sideswipe brings the competitive, car soccer gameplay of Rocket League to mobile screens with a new perspective on the field. Players will compete in fast-paced 2 minute Private Matches with friends, or Competitive Matches online with players around the world. In addition to 1v1 or 2v2 modes in Soccar, players can also play the basketball-inspired Hoops mode.

With intuitive touchscreen controls that make it easy to pick up and play, longtime Rocket League players and newcomers alike will be able to immediately jump into the action-packed fun of car soccer.

Pre-Season will allow players to get warmed up in Rocket League Sideswipe and its Rocket Pass, Competitive Ranks and Customization options before the official Season 1 begins.

Players will need to log in with an Epic Games Account to play Online Matches and can earn extra XP across Rocket League and Sideswipe just by playing and linking an account. More details on additional Rocket League and Rocket League Sideswipe crossovers will be revealed soon!

Rocket League Sideswipe also features a high-energy custom soundtrack that brings a unique edge to Rocket League music, built in partnership with leading electronic music label, Monstercat.
