Press release:
The Poland-based indie games publisher and developer Prime Bit Games are today super excited and happy to announce that their turn-based tactical card game “Magic Nations” is now available on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One via the Microsoft store.

Magic Nations, a tactical card game previously released on PC, Switch and mobile, has just been released on Xbox consoles, with the addition of crossplay functionality.

Developed by Prime Bit Games, Magic Nations is a tactical card game steeped in a fantasy world that offers both single- and multiplayer modes. The core gameplay is about building your own deck of cards that you will use in a series of strategy-oriented battles. Gameplay is further enhanced by the element of trading and selling cards a’la Pokémon.

Cross-play is a new feature added alongside the freshly released Xbox version that allows Xbox, PC, Switch and mobile players to compete against each other.

The rules of the game are pretty straightforward: the player manages their own deck of cards that are to be deployed in two rows on the table. The first row consists of melee units and the second one contains ranged fighters. Each battle is concluded when the allotted number of turns elapses or when one of the sides runs out of cards (whichever comes first).

In the universe of Magic Nations, one day a fairly regular ritual of mages resulted in a catastrophic event after which numerous rifts to other dimensions were formed. As a consequence, Humans were invaded by new races: Orcs, Elves, Dwarves, Amazons and Necromants. The world of Magic Nations is full of mythical and peculiar beasts with numerous nods to legends, mythology, literature and games.

Each of the sides of the conflict can gain a tactical advantage in their own way thanks to unique powers and special units. For example, Orcs can regenerate hit points after receiving damage, whereas Elves are able to pierce through enemy armor and Humans can quickly summon additional units onto the battlefield.

Main features:
· Carefully study the pros and cons of each race to find a way to trump them in a card battle
· Build your own unique deck consisting of 4 card types: regular, magic, legendary, and ancient
· Trade or sell the cards you no longer need so that you could create a deck of your dreams
· Enjoy the new cross-play functionality thanks to which Xbox, PC, Nintendo Switch and mobile players can compete with one another
· Uniquely balanced gameplay forbids players to reuse the same type of cards and is dependent on might points which grow with every gained level

The developers have also created something of a multiverse, i.e. by performing special quests and playing other titles made by Prime Bit Games players can receive Gold Cards which have special properties. Their presence further enhances the variety of gameplay. The player can hold only one Gold Card of a given kind and those cannot be traded (unlike regular cards).
