The PlaySonic2 from Prif is with no doubt a nice headset currently priced at £21.74 on amazon this budget stereo headset certainly holds its own. While it’s it won’t compete with high-end headsets like the Astro A40 or Turtle Beach headsets, for those shopping on a budget should most definitely take a look at the PlaySonic 2.

Build Quality and comfort.
The build quality is pretty sturdy. As the entire headset is mainly plastic, and it doesn’t appear it would take much of a beating to break. Simply put, handle the headset with care (in other words, other words don’t throw them off in a fit of rage). The cups sit on the ears fairly comfortably, and I could wear them for a few hours of game time without any discomfort. The microphone is on the left side of the headset rather than the right like most headsets. It can be positioned easily and remain in place thanks to the flexible wire. There are also inline controls letting you mute your microphone and control game volume. Furthermore, there is a clip so you can attach it to your shirt.

Playsonic 2 offers a good sound and comfort, and the low price tag makes the headset to a decent Gaming accessory.
Sound Quality.
Sound quality for budget headsets can be hit and miss. However, with the PlaySonic2 I found it to be quite a decent headset. It’s a little heavy on the bass but delivers a pretty good experience, no matter if you’re watching media, listening to music or simply gaming with friends. And the voice chat is also at a decent standard. As people’s voices came through nice and clear as well as mine their end. It was noted my voice was quieter than usual, which was solved by moving the microphone closer to my mouth.
I tested the headset with “Doom” for gaming and some casual media consisting of Lindsey Stirling and a few videos, game wise. And if you like bass, then the PlaySonic 2 has no issues with this, but it can be a little jarring at times. While listening to media, Lindsey Stirling’s track sounded brilliant. And it was also a good way of getting a decent idea to what extent the headset could deliver in terms of sound quality (which is certainly above average).
The PlaySonic 2 is ideal for those needing a budget headset that does a proper job of providing a decent sound and a good gaming experience with friends. Nothing is worse than a microphone with distorted audio and echo, there is none of this with the PlaySonic 2.
Pros:
+ Price
+ Good sound Quality
+ Comfortable
Cons:
– A little too much Bass
– Build quality could be better
Sound: 4/5
comfort: 4/5
Build quality: 3/5
Price: 5/5

Verdict: 4/5
Prif´s PlaySonic 2 stereo Gaming headset is with no doubt a really nice budget headset. Especially since it´s currently priced at £21 via Amazon. So you get a lot of value for your money.
