The Singapore-based indie games publisher The Iterative Collective and indie games developer YongJustYong Games, today announced with great happiness and thrill that they have just released a new playable demo for their upcoming tactical deckbuilder/roguelike game “Sigil of the Magi” (the demo is available right now for PC via the June 2022 edition of Steam Next Fest).

Set to release on Steam Early Access in Q3 2022, Sigil of the Magi blends roguelike deck building with strategic, turn-based combat for an ever-evolving tactical experience.

You control a party of three champions and traverse through procedurally generated maps, encountering battles and events along the way. Every encounter offers an opportunity to build up your deck of powerful skill cards unique to each champion. Progress through evolving maps, earn formidable cards, and acquire influential relics through battle and mysterious encounters as you journey to obtain the secrets of the Magi.

Dynamic Deck Building – Draft unique decks that complement your party’s strengths and counter the abilities of your increasingly dangerous foes.

Command your Champions – Players control three Champions from various factions, each with their own unique skills and passive abilities.
Hone your Strategy – All enemy attacks are telegraphed in minimalistic, turn-based combat. Analyze your opponents’ strategies and come up with the perfect counter every turn.

This update also brings a second map to explore, with new enemies to face. Your champions also have new starting cards and you can now choose powerful boons to add variety to your subsequent runs.
