The UK-based indie games publisher/developer Team 17 and indie games developer Ernestas Norvaišas (an ex-Factorio 3D artist and developer), today announced with great excitement and joy that their train-led city builder “Sweet Transit” is coming to PC via Steam Early Access on July 28th, 2022.

Team 17 and Ernestas Norvaišas have also just announced that they have released a brand-new time-limited PC demo for “Sweet Transit” (the PC demo is available right now via Steam as a part of the June 2022 edition of Steam Next Fest). So be sure to check that one out!

Home to a world where the railway is king and trains are the sole means of transportation and expansion, Sweet Transit sees players use these mighty iron horses to build new settlements, create intricate production lines, and grow humble villages into thriving metropolises while moving through distinct eras such as the introduction of steam power and the invention of the combustion engine.

Locomotive legends who can’t wait until early access launch can also enjoy a brand-new gameplay video introducing the game’s core mechanics of city building, logistics and production.
