The Netherlands-based indie games developer/publisher SOEDESCO and US-based indie games developer Indigo Studios, today announced with great happiness and delight that their first-person horror mystery game “Charon’s Staircase”, is now available for PC (via Steam) and consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch).

In order to announce the news, SOEDESCO and Indigo Studios released an exciting launch trailer, available in multiple languages.

In Charon’s Staircase, you set out to bury the horrible past of an institution called “The Ministry” by retrieving and destroying classified documents. Venture through nightmarish landscapes, solve puzzles, decipher codes, and avoid dangers to unravel the macabre events that took place years ago in the experimental facility of Oack Grove.

Charon’s Staircase is a story filled with mystery while telling a dark and dramatic narrative through its ominous environments, chilling details and fully-voiced narration.

About Charon’s Staircase
In the 1970s, a totalitarian regime known as The Ministry ruled with an iron fist. They committed numerous inhumane and sinister acts during their reign, but those days are over, as they now aspire to join the European Union.

You play as an agent codenamed: ‘Desmond’, sent by The Ministry who is tasked with retrieving and destroying classified documents from the Oack Grove estate, that reveal the horrifying activities that happened in the past. Your journey, however, leads you to an unpleasant and gruesome discovery – Project Alpha.
