Press release:
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, November 11 2022.
The Stockholm-based (Sweden) indie games publisher Aurora Punks and indie games developer Woodhill Interactive, are today very happy and excited to announce that they have just launched the closed beta for their upcoming mystery puzzle game “Orten Was The Case” (the said closed beta is available right now for PC via Steam! The testing phase will be up and running until November 11th, and the idea is to collect feedback and gameplay data).

Orten Was The Case Is a single player, lore driven, detective/puzzle adventure game with a time-loop mechanic and is the brainchild of smash hit It Takes Two’s lead animator, Oskar Thuresson. Thuresson also contributed to the teams behind Brothers and A Way Out. Orten Was The Case draws influences from Thuresson’s upbringing in the suburbs of Stockholm, and prominently features local settings and graffiti culture in its striking art style.

“I’m really excited to see people delve into the mysteries of Orten. It’s a thrill to be able to share my vision and fantasy of what might be hidden below street level in a suburb that most wouldn’t give a second glance to,” says lead developer Oskar Thuresson.

The Developer Woodhill Interactive has also entered a Co-Publishing Agreement with Swedish game collective Aurora Punks who will port the title to console for a planned 2023 release.

About Aurora Punks
