Pokémon fans have already started clamoring for more coverage on Pokken Tournament fighter—the mashup from Namco and Nintendo—exclusively on the Nintendo WiiU. Although the game doesn’t premiere until spring next year. However, you will be excited to know that Pikachu is ready to be a bad ass luchador. Pikachu libre is the next big thing, and we can’t get enough of it!
However, If you happen to live in Japan, then you’re in luck. As Pokken Tournament has been in arcades since July. And for those who don’t know it, Pokken is just like your standard PvP fighting game with a slight twist. You play with Pokemon, and they don’t really speak—besides saying their names. The Tokyo Games Show is still on its way, so look forward to a lot of great game announcements and more coverage on this title and so many more right here!
As for now though, please enjoy the Pokemon World Championships (which aired in August) video =) And don´t forget to check out the “Pokkén Tournament Arrives on Wii U in Spring 2016!” trailer as well.
