LONDON, UK – January 30, 2023.
The London-based (England) indie games publisher Fireshine Games and Sheffield-based (England) indie games developer Triplevision Games Limited , today announced with great thrill and delight that they are going to launch the closed alpha for their survival city-builder/roguelike “These Doomed Isles” on February 10th, 2023 (the said closed alpha will be avaible for PC via Steam on Feb 10th).

Play as a god to create land and build settlements for your followers, providing them with shelter, resources and defences to help them survive against raiders, natural disasters and mythological monstrosities. Craft your deck to place forests, rivers, mountains and more, and bring the world to life with powerful cards, relics and miracles in this strategic settlement-building roguelike.

The Closed Alpha will provide the first look at brand new features, including the introduction of boss fights and a new prayer-based victory system, and is playable for one week from February 10-17. To take part, just join the These Doomed Isles Discord before February 10 to receive a guaranteed place. After joining, all members will automatically receive a key on February 10 that they can use to download the Closed Alpha and provide feedback.

GAME FEATURES:
▪ Raise Islands – In this survival city-builder, you are a god who must build & defend island settlements. Use your powers to harvest resources, provide shelter for your followers & protect your settlement from attacks, plague, starvation & more. Place land to expand, but beware of what lurks beyond the horizon!
▪ Create Life – Craft a deck of cards to create land and place forests, rivers, mountains and more. Bring the world to life with powerful cards, relics and miracles.
▪ Build Your Settlement – Build homes for your followers, carefully manage their requirements and give them the tools they need to exploit the environment you’ve created.
▪ Harvest Cards – Harvest cards to craft the deck you want. Manage the cards in your deck to ensure you can thrive (or, at the very least, survive) until the next harvest.
▪ Survive – Will you survive these doomed isles? Face increasing challenges as natural disasters scar your land and waves of raiders and mythical sea monsters attack from beyond the horizon.
