The Bowling Green-based (Kentucky, the US) indie games publisher Hitcents and Ann Arbor-based (Michigan, the US) indie games developer HardBoiled Studios, are today very happy and excited to announce that the full version (v1.0) of their physics-based platformer “YOLKED – The Egg Game“, is now available for PC (Windows and MAC OS) via Steam.

Escape the not-so-ordinary home of a mad scientist attempting to assemble an army of mutant eggs through heinous eggs-periments. Prevent an untimely end by exploring his home, ranging from the seemingly safe kitchen to the definitely dangerous lab. After frying in Early Access since October 2021, it’s time to delve into a brand new level, extended ending, and discover more collectibles all added in 1.0.

Awaken as a two-armed egg to grab, swing, and climb through slippery physics-based levels. Everyday household items become precarious obstacles lurking around every corner, with falling spatulas, shattering wine glasses, and spraying bottles of ketchup and mustard ready to poach unsuspecting eggs. Avoid bees, spiders, and piranhas to escape a cracking conclusion.

Become the ultimate speedrunning eggs-pert by mastering intiuitive controls and climbing global leaderboards. Escape the mad scientist’s home in style with over 80 scrumptious costumes to unlock, including a Pineapple, Football, Devil, Cactus and more. Unravel the secrets behind the mad scientist’s plans and what led to him enacting evil cookouts involving the egg kind.

YOLKED -The Egg Game scrambles out of Steam early access today on Windows PC for $6.99 USD. It supports English, Spanish, French, German, Brazilian Portuguese, and Simplified Chinese languages.
