The Barcelona-based (Spain) indie games publisher Jandusoft and Eastbourne-based (the UK) indie games developer 9FingerGames, are today very happy and proud to announce that their twisted metroidvania “Zapling Bygone“, is coming physically to the PS5 and PS4 in the shape of a standard and deluxe edition on July 28th, 2023.

Discover a dark and twisted world

Zapling Bygone is a twisted metroidvania where you murder your foes and steal their abilities by wearing their skulls and absorbing their consciousness into your hive-mind.

Every ability is gained by killing a boss and stealing their skull. These abilities allow you to transverse the world in new and exciting ways as well as help you destroy your opponents.

A pixelart metroidvania created by a solodev.
Tight but fair precision platforming.
Rewards exploration, with hidden secrets around every corner.
