The Milan-based (Italy) indie games publisher HOOK and Den Haag-based (The Netherlands) indie games developer Jaxx Vane Studio, are today very excited and happy to announce that they have just released the full version (v1.0) of their realistic sailing and foiling sim “Hydrofoil Generation“.

That’s right! v1.0 of “Hydrofoil Generation” is now available right now for PC via Steam for £17.99/€19.99/$19.99 with a limited time 20% launch discount.

Players can now experience the world’s most exciting racing on water, first-hand, and get closer to the action in the most accurate sailing simulation title ever released. For an even fuller gameplay experience, Hydrofoil Generation will feature official Global Racing League SailGP content including SailGP’s flying F50 catamarans and liveries in this full launch.

These high-tech, hydrofoiling F50’s are capable of speeds close to 100 km/h and are now available to race in this super accurate first-person simulation of multiplayer “in-shore” regattas.

Developed by Jaxx Vane Studio, Hydrofoil Generation is a passion project from Stefano “kunos” Casillo co-founder of Kunos Simulazioni, the globally acclaimed studio behind the racing simulation masterpiece Assetto Corsa.

Hydrofoil Generation puts you in the driving seat of state-of-the-art hydrofoils, including the high-tech, high-speed F50s used in SailGP, modelled with unprecedented accuracy to replicate the exhilarating experience of ‘flying’ over the water at speeds of nearly 100 kmph.

Take control of your boat and fine-tune the sailing mechanics of your foils to reduce drag and increase your speed. Customise your craft to overcome the demands of the changing winds, sea conditions and currents as you compete against up to 10 opponents in thrilling multiplayer racers in exciting locations such as Bermuda and Chicago.

Thanks to Hydrofoil Generation’s demanding and realistic simulator mechanics, the fine line between speed and capsizing is a continual threat and will not only push your sailing skills but your boat to the very limit.
