The Wiesbaden-based (Germany) indie games publisher and developer Assemble Entertainment and Tallinn-based (Estonia) indie games developer Chaosmonger Studio, today announced with great delight and thrill that their cryptic side-scrolling adventure “Three Minutes To Eight”, is coming to consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch) and mobile devices (iOS and Android) via digital stores on December 21st, 2023.

You’re destined to meet your demise at precisely 7:57 PM, and it’s up to you to find a way to cheat death while unraveling the mysteries of the story.

Set in the near future, Three Minutes to Eight tells an unnerving story full of twists and turns requiring players to solve the mystery of the protagonist’s death. It’s up to players to unravel what lies beneath, uncover secret paths, find ways to cheat death, and unlock multiple endings.

Each run is distinct, with randomized elements and unique events, urging players to revisit the game multiple times to discover all its hidden mysteries.

Three Minutes to Eight features intriguing dialogue with a roster of interesting – and fully voiced acted – NPCs who deepen the game’s gripping narrative. With its unique short-burst gameplay, it allows for infinite replayability, boasting numerous endings and hidden mysteries in each playthrough.

Three Minutes to Eight has been touted by the media as a fun, mind-bending game with much to offer, from music to voice acting, levels, and character designs. Following its launch on Steam, Chaosmonger Studio released a developer’s note, which focuses on player feedback and updates.

Three Minutes to Eight will come to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and iOS on December 21st. It’s now available on Steam and GOG.
