The China-based indie games publisher Doyoyo Games and California-based (the US) indie games developer Stingbot Games, today announced with great joy and excitement that they have just released themassive 0.7 update for their roguelite/ARPG “Keeper’s Toll“, (the said update is available right now for PC via Steam Early Access).

The latest update brings revamped visuals, a new environment, and the introduction of a vicious new boss to the genre-bending experience.

Delve into the depths of Keeper’s Toll, an action-packed roguelite set within a retro-infused dark fantasy world brimming with callous bosses and unrelenting hordes. The 0.7 update introduces a harrowing new environment, revamped visuals, and the reckoning of The Ebon King.

Keeper’s Toll is a methodical genre-bending experience with a heavy focus on slow-paced, skill-based gameplay. Obliterate ferocious hordes as one of the four risen heroes, all with their own unique abilities, combat mechanics, and ARPG-like progression trees. Each run provides an opportunity to adapt and hone the skills necessary to overcome unique enemy archetypes and intricate bosses. These ravenous bosses and cutthroat invaders lie at the heart of Keeper’s Toll. Heroes must hold a keen sense of strategy throughout their runs in order to survive and prosper.

Beginning today, the 0.7 update welcomes heroes to Castle Usvit, a dense stronghold flush with grueling creatures who serve the almighty Ebon King. The Castle holds the secret behind a final rest, so heroes must heed the words of Kalinov and embark on a world-spanning adventure that will lead them on a path to peace. Along with the new environment, the 0.7 update delivers revamped visuals featuring enhanced lighting, vast UI improvements, a new health system, new character abilities, and dodge rolling. The 0.7 update is simply the beginning of an eternal night, as new playable classes, new environments, and new bosses are actively in development.
